In Memory of Teresa Sánchez, My Sister

"Because she came here to play — and taught us all how to live."

Tere, during her time at Veterinary School — all light, all future.

This store is more than a collection of gemstones. It is a tribute.

On February 25th, I lost my sister to metastatic breast cancer. She was a veterinarian, a scientist, and a woman full of life. Even as the disease took her sight, her movement, and her physical strength, she never let it touch her dignity. She taught us that if you lose one eye, you still have the other. That if you can’t run, you can walk. And that every obstacle life throws at you can be jumped over—or danced around.

She faced her illness with unmatched clarity, generosity, and courage — offering us lessons in strength and grace until her final breath.

Five days before she died, the oncologist asked her if she wanted to receive a dose of chemotherapy, and despite how sick she was, she replied:
“Yes, and I came here to play.”
That was Tere. That will always be Tere.

She didn't want flowers at her funeral, but she asked us to give the money to the Spanish Metastatic Breast Cancer Association. On the day of her farewell, those donations were printed and cremated next to her. Those were her flowers. That was her last act of love for science.

This store is my way of honoring her spirit — her science, her truth, her beauty. It’s a love letter, it's a tribute in every gemstone.
A thank-you.
A way of saying:
“I came here to play. And I’m still playing—with you.”

That’s why 10% of every sale will be donated to the Asociación Española de Cáncer de Mama Metastásico. After each purchase, you will receive a copy of the donation receipt, because your order is part of something larger.

Together, we make her memory matter.
