Gemstone Description
+
This 0.75 ct natural Zambian Emerald displays an appealing vivid green color with a pronounced bluish component. Gemologically graded as 17 (vstbG), very strongly bluish green, it has a medium-light tone and strong saturation, creating a fresh and lively appearance.
Cut in an octagonal shape with a nearly square outline, the gemstone measures approximately 5.52 × 5.06 × 3.34 mm. Its compact proportions and clipped corners give it a distinctive geometric character, making it an attractive choice for a bespoke ring, pendant, or small statement jewel.
The Emerald is transparent and heavily included. Its natural internal features are clearly visible and form the characteristic internal landscape associated with natural Emerald. These inclusions are shown openly in the photographs and video so that the gemstone can be assessed exactly as it is.
Despite its included clarity, the vivid green color remains the dominant visual feature. Its geometric outline, bright appearance, and individual internal character give this small Emerald a surprisingly strong presence.
The accompanying report from GIL Gemological International Laboratories identifies the gemstone as a natural Emerald and records CEE(O) Minor, corresponding to minor clarity enhancement with oil. This limited treatment is fully disclosed.
The cut is graded fair. Nevertheless, the gemstone retains an attractive face-up outline and a pleasing balance between its vivid color, compact size, and natural character.
This Emerald comes from a parcel acquired as Zambian material. The laboratory report confirms its natural identity, color, measurements, and minor oil enhancement, although it does not independently state geographic origin.
