Gemstone Description
+
This 1.10 ct natural Zambian Emerald displays a fresh and vivid green color with a pronounced bluish component. Gemologically graded as 17 (vstbG), very strongly bluish green, it has a medium-light tone and strong saturation, creating a bright and attractive appearance.
Cut in an oval faceted shape, the gemstone measures approximately 8.05 × 6.05 × 3.43 mm. Its elongated outline and broad face-up dimensions give it a generous visual presence for its weight, making it particularly appealing for a bespoke ring or pendant.
The Emerald is transparent and heavily included. Its natural internal features are visible throughout the gemstone and create the characteristic internal landscape associated with natural Emerald. These inclusions are shown openly in the photographs and video, allowing the gemstone to be assessed exactly as it is.
Despite its included nature, the color remains the dominant visual feature. Its vivid green appearance and graceful oval outline give it a bright, expressive character that remains attractive from different viewing angles.
The accompanying report from GIL Gemological International Laboratories identifies the gemstone as a natural Emerald and records CEE(O) Minor, corresponding to minor clarity enhancement with oil. This limited treatment is fully disclosed.
The cut is graded fair. Nevertheless, the gemstone retains an attractive face-up appearance and a pleasing oval shape suited to a distinctive custom jewel.
This Emerald comes from a parcel acquired as Zambian material. The laboratory report confirms its natural identity and minor oil enhancement but does not independently state geographic origin.
