Gemstone Description
+
This 1.65 ct natural Zambian Emerald displays a rich and vivid green color with a pronounced bluish component. Gemologically graded as 17 (vstbG), very strongly bluish green, it has a medium-dark tone and strong saturation, creating an intense color that immediately draws the eye.
Cut in a rectangular emerald shape, the gemstone measures approximately 6.35 × 5.55 × 5.55 mm. Its compact proportions give it a strong visual presence, while the even color distribution allows the green to remain consistent across the stone.
The Emerald is transparent and heavily included. Its natural inclusions are visible throughout the gemstone and form a distinctive internal landscape traditionally associated with Emerald. These features are fully shown in the photographs and video, allowing the stone to be appreciated exactly as it is.
Despite its included nature, the gemstone remains very attractive. Its vivid color continues to dominate visually, and the inclusions contribute personality without detracting from its overall beauty.
The gemstone has received F1 clarity enhancement with oil, indicating minor fissure filling. This is a limited and commonly accepted treatment for natural Emeralds and is fully disclosed in the accompanying report from an independent gemological laboratory.
Its cut has been graded fair. Even so, the gemstone retains a balanced rectangular outline and a deep, expressive green appearance that makes it well suited to bespoke jewelry.
The laboratory also notes gemological characteristics consistent with Emeralds from Zambia, supporting its Zambian provenance.
A vivid natural Zambian Emerald with strong color, visible natural character, and only minor oil enhancement.
