Gemstone Description
+
This 1.75 ct natural Zambian Emerald displays a rich and vivid green color with an attractive bluish component. Gemologically graded as 17 (vstbG), very strongly bluish green, it has a medium-dark tone and strong saturation, creating an intense color that remains the gemstone’s dominant visual feature.
Cut in a classic rectangular emerald shape, it measures approximately 7.78 × 6.64 × 4.11 mm. Its broad proportions give it a pleasing face-up presence, while the even color distribution allows the green to appear consistent across the stone.
The Emerald is transparent and graded heavily included. This clarity grade is influenced in particular by a small natural fissure that reaches the surface of the crown. The fissure and the gemstone’s other internal characteristics are shown openly in the photographs and video, allowing the stone to be assessed exactly as it is.
Importantly, the independent laboratory report states no indications of clarity enhancement. No oil or other fissure-filling substance was detected. This is an uncommon and desirable characteristic in natural Emeralds, which are frequently treated with oil to reduce the visibility of surface-reaching fissures.
Its cut has been graded fair. Nevertheless, the gemstone retains an attractive rectangular outline, a strong green color, and a lively presence when viewed from different angles.
This Emerald will appeal to someone who values intense natural color and an untreated internal character over a perfectly clean appearance. Its visible inclusions form part of its identity, while the absence of clarity enhancement makes it particularly interesting for collectors and for distinctive bespoke jewelry.
A richly colored natural Zambian Emerald offering vivid green beauty, complete treatment transparency, and no indications of oiling.
