This natural Zambian Emerald displays a beautiful vibrant bluish green color in a distinctive square emerald cut. Measuring approximately 7.95 × 7.65 mm, it offers an unusually generous face-up presence for its 2.01 ct weight and looks considerably larger when viewed from above.
The gemstone has a very shallow profile with limited pavilion depth. Although this results in a low laboratory cut grade, it allows the Emerald to retain a broad visible surface and showcase its appealing green color. Its natural internal features remain visible, giving the stone the individual character traditionally associated with Emerald.
The gemstone is transparent and graded slightly included. It has undergone minor fissure filling with colorless oil, a customary clarity enhancement for natural Emeralds. Its natural identity, treatment and gemological characteristics are documented in a report issued by the independent Instituto Gemológico Español.
This Emerald comes from a parcel acquired as Zambian material. The accompanying report confirms that it is a natural Emerald, although this particular certificate does not independently state its geographic origin.
